Tristan Cano I am a travel writer and freelance journalist based in Gibraltar. The quest for world domination can be draining at times. So, given even the slenderest of opportunities I like to wrap my belongings in a large handkerchief, attach to the end of a stick and venture off into the unknown. When I return I unpack my bindle and cynically scribble down my experiences, largely incoherent thoughts which lose themselves in the junk mail filters of travel magazine editors. I write regular travel features for the Gibraltar Chronicle, as well as numerous magazines, specialist travel websites and blogs. My first book Historic Walking Guides: Gibraltar was published in December 2009. Any self-respecting writer "needs" to have his own website.
